A recent survey on religion shows there are 34
million Americans who are classified as "Nones", that is they do
not embrace any of the "revealed" religions and the vast
majority of them are not Atheists. In actuality, the vast
majority of the "Nones" are actually Deists!
The survey shows a giant step forward for Deism in the fact that it
actually uses the word "Deist" and for the very significant raw
numbers it shows as representing the number of people who are
Deists. In reality, the number of Deists is actually
higher than the survey shows because the survey uses an outdated

We used an image of a spiral galaxy because a galaxy is defined as a "system of stars", and system is defined as "an orderly grouping" which points to a Designer of Supreme Intelligence, or as defined in the Declaration of Independence, "Nature's God". It was by gazing upon and contemplating the stars that Ray Fontaine was able to evolve from a Catholic Priest of over 20 years to an active Deist.
We used an image of DNA to further point out the design in Nature. The complex design of DNA is what prompted the life long atheist, Antony Flew, to convert to Deism.
The image of a human fetus/baby is there to make the point that life is the greatest gift from Nature's God. When we apply our second greatest gift of reason to life and to Nature we can tie it all together.
The text used, "Trust Nature's God" is key to Deism. We used the word "Trust" instead of "Have Faith In" because there is no faith required to recognize the Designer's designs in Nature. As Voltaire said, "What is faith? Is it to believe that which is evident? No. It is perfectly evident to my mind that there exists a necessary, eternal, supreme, and intelligent being. This is no matter of faith, but of reason."
