I'm very happy to announce the first ever Deist Reason Center! For years I've wanted to have a Deist Reason Center where people could go to learn about Deism and meet face to face with a real live Deist! Now, thanks to the altruism, generosity and dedication of fellow Deist Paul Mopps, this dream is now a reality!
Paul is always, as he says, "spreading seeds" for Deism. He has multiple Deist bumper stickers on his truck and he brings his copy of my book, Deism: A Revolution in Religion, A Revolution in You, with him almost everywhere he goes. He also occasionally runs the ad below for the World Union of Deists in his local newspaper. He said what I wrote in my book about Deism growing to the point of having Deist Reason Centers around the world got him thinking. And Paul is a person who isn't content with just thinking or talking about things, he believes in action like men before him such as Thomas Paine, George Washington, Thomas Jefferson and all those who made the American Revolution a reality! Like them, Paul is making the Religious Revolution of Deism a reality!
The Deist Reason Center will be open on most weekends, introducing new people to Deism and providing camaraderie with fellow Deists! We hope to eventually have Deist Reason Centers around the world. And as the World Union of Deists continues to grow we will have them staffed with volunteer doctors, nurses and dentists to provide people who lack the means and who haven't been able to be healed by a faith-healer free medical and dental care. We'd also like to offer the public free literacy programs as well as classes in astronomy, biology, and all of the sciences. This is very much in line with Thomas Paine's ideas which he expressed in The Age of Reason.
Anyone who would like to visit the first ever Deist Reason Center located near the beautiful Mt. Rainier National Park in Washington needs to contact Paul for an appointment and for directions at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Here are some pictures of the Deist Reason Center and below the pictures is the ad that Paul occasionally runs in his local newspaper. This is a great way to further get the word out about Deism, or like Paul says, "planting seeds"!

Do you believe in God, but not in religion? Is the beautiful simplicity and order found throughout Nature enough to make you believe in Nature's God? If so, you are a Deist! To learn more, contact the World Union of Deists at Box 4052, Clearwater, FL 33758 or visit www.deism.com
The survey shows a giant step forward for Deism in the fact that it actually uses the word "Deist" and for the very significant raw numbers it shows as representing the number of people who are Deists. In reality, the number of Deists is actually higher than the survey shows because the survey uses an outdated definition of Deist. For a more accurate definition please see our Deism Defined page.

The article makes clear the judge based his decision, not on the rule of law, but on the prevailing superstitions in Gwinnett County, Georgia! The fact that in 2009 people still really believe in devils and demons demonstrates clearly the NEED FOR DEISM AND GOD-GIVEN REASON!
Obama supporters forget that when all is said and done, Obama is just another politician. This article shows he's proving that he is nothing but a politician by doing more than any other president to mix religion and government, especially through giving tax-dollars to religious organizations.
