Deism Topics Requests

Do we, as Deists, achieve a better understanding of Deism (and what it stands for) with non-Deists, by engaging calmly and rationally - without directly attacking their beliefs - or by confronting them with our perceptions (our logic vs their faith) that lay bare their structural short-falls (as we see them) in rationality - while also supporting our argument by pointing out the obvious errors, manifold hypocricies and the often historically grotesque and deeply egregious travesties of their belief system(s)'s - as often perpetrated against their own members and humanity in general?

New to Desim - so I am curious as to other's thoughts.

As I have already pointed out many times, it is important that the WUD becomes a point of reference for all deists in the world, not just the English-speaking ones.

There are many Italian deists who do not speak English but would like to talk to other deists and exchange ideas, for this reason we are thinking of creating a forum on our site. But it would be better to have a single forum for all deists, and this would surely be the most suitable place.

For this reason I ask to create a section called "International Deism" or "Deism in the world" (personally I prefer the first one more) which has subsections divided by language.

This would increase the number of users in the forum, indexing the site and bringing more and more visibility to the project.

Why are deists so hard to find, much less any active groups - area or regional?
