In Nigeria, especially in my country, it's not easy at all to become a deist. I was abandoned because they see me as a rebel and an enemy of their religion, and therefore no longer do business with me. I'm incredibly lonely and depressed right now.

I'm so sorry to hear this has happened to you! Americans have 'Freedom of Religion' in our constitution; however, I don't talk about my beliefs very often for fear of being judged by my Christian friends and relatives. It's all so wrong! I truly believe that God wants us to love one another no matter our beliefs. Humans on Earth are still so primitive, in my opinion. They still have a deep desire to control one another, and a huge way they try to do that is through religion and politics. It's all very discouraging, but please know that there are people around the world who believe as you do and do NOT judge or reject you. I hope you are able to find a way to pull out of your depression. It is such a debilitating feeling. I've been there many times!
