As a deist I find it obligatory to fight religious fanaticism in all its forms, especially when mythology is used to erode human rights.
As long as mythology is a harmless belief it is fine to tolerate anything, but when it is used as a tool to legitimize colonialism the thing becomes serious.
We often hear that Israel is justified in colonizing Palestine because 2000 years ago there were Jews there, but this is pseudo-historical nonsense based on mythology and, specifically, on two big errors.
The first is that the Kingdom of Israel never actually existed. It is a mythological legendary kingdom like Atlantis, El Dorado, etc. It has an etiological function, that is, it serves to explain the birth of the Jews, exactly like the Garden of Eden. Both invented places. The truth is that the Kingdom of Samaria, which is mistakenly called the Kingdom of Israel, existed, but in reality it was only in the North. In the south was the Kingdom of Judah.
The second is that the descendants of the Jews of Palestine are the Palestinians, who converted to Islam in the seventh century. That is, those who are killed in the name of "give us back the land that was ours 2000 years ago". The Jews who live there now, that is, the settlers, are actually the descendants of Khazar Europeans (therefore Eastern Europeans) who converted to Judaism in the eighth century.
In other words, Israel was created on the basis of fairy tales, and on the basis of fairy tales it has been carrying out a massacre against the indigenous population for 75 years.
And all this with the support of our corrupt Western governments.
