Perfect Balance

For me Deism is the perfect balance and glad I found this group.

Certainly I have soured on religion over the years. For me,the tipping point was seeing the increase in people crediting everything to God, God Jr. (Jesus), and the power of prayer.

"Pulled through that surgery" It wasn't trained medical staff, it was the power of prayer. "Found that extra $20 in your coat pocket" Jesus was looking out for me.

But, despite my rejection of religion. I still believe there is some higher power out there that cannot be explained. But at the same time, it has become very apparent over the years that what is sometimes refered to as "God" does not interfere.

We have been given the intelligence and tools. It's completely up to the human race to decide how this story plays out.
