Thank you, Peter. I have been a Deist for over 20 years, and my views have evolved over the years to where I am now, a "Unified Deist". I am hoping to find like-minded Deists who want to take a more active role.
I am not sure where most you are located but the USA is going through a religious war for our freedom of thought and expression. This being the 250th anniversary of our freedom as a country our deistic past is getting erased and deists such as Jefferson/Washington/ Payne/Franklin/Lincoln who worked so hard to provide us these freedoms, would be shocked and ashamed today.
The trends here show that the "spiritual/non-religious" growing and now over 30% of total and 40% of younger generations want a "Deistic Faith". I have spoken to 100s in various Christian faiths who, after you peal back the layers, are actually Deists. Since our faith/ spiritality has been built on individuality there is not a clear mission or vision. Even in this platform, I have read Deism being labeled as a religion, way of life, and spirituality.
I am asking for feedback, other contacts, and platforms that may connect us together.
Our seed was planted in ancient Greece, after the Enlightment Deism was at a peak, and for over 200 years we have been dormant but there are millions out there who do belong and now is our time for a Re-Enlightment.
