Today is Passover. It's a major and essential holiday in Judaism. It is allegedly a celebration of freedom. It portrays God in a horrific way that is completely rejected by Deism. Passover is a foundational myth of Judaism and a pivotal part of the Exodus myth that claims ancient Egypt held millions of Jews in slavery. As the story goes, God wanted to be the God of the Jews.
