Hello, to all! I have always seen GOD or a Supreme Being

"Intelligent Designer" by observing nature! As I started to lose my faith in organized religion my faith in an Intelligent Designer has never been stronger! Until I came across the term deist, I thought I was alone in this belief. I have been studying the Historical Critical viewpoint of the bible, and it is very interesting! That being said, now that I believe that the creation story in Genesis is probably a myth, what are some deist theories on how mankind was created? I know nothing can be proved but would like to hear what some of you all think about it. Thanks Jay!

Hi everyone, so pleased to have discovered a name and philosophy to dispel the struggles I have had all my life having been raised christian but never felt connected with the teachings of christianity since childhood, I live in a christian dominated society (Zambia) and have struggled to describe my sense of faith in a higher power without the sunday school stories and lessons derived from a holy book when discussing my spirituality, I enjoy the ritual of church gathering to pray and connect within my community but have always found myself reasoning that it is more my love of architecture and wonder of the skills given to mankind to build such amazing structures to worship while attending instead of focusing on the lessons for the day from the scripture within. Looking forward to this newfound journey I'm embarking with everyone here, thanks☺️

I see GOD as this "FORCE" my health is great and protected like constant...im surrounded by its power and is always thankful for it

My society where I'm based is Christianity and I'm not here to talk about it because it's draining my energy mentally and physically

Deist is new to me and I'm feeling it's positive impact on my well-being

supporting deism and it's people because I'm proud to be apart of a movement that make sense and support our fellow humans
