Judaism is the Basis of Zionism

Many people claim that Judaism and Zionism are not compatible. This is seen in the 2023 documentary Israelism. This film was produced by two Jewish-Americans and a Gentile Palestinian-American who wanted people to differentiate between Judaism and Zionism. In particular, the film tries to distance Judaism from the horrors of the expanding and cruel decades old Israeli occupation of Palestinian land.
As Deists, we apply our gift from The Supreme Intelligence/God of innate reason to absolutely everything, especially religion. When we apply it to the claim that Judaism should not be associated with the illegal and expanding Israeli occupation of Palestinian land and the ensuing cruelty-based war crimes the Jewish state of Israel is inflicting upon the Palestinians, we quickly see the claim is a false claim.
Objectively looking at Judaism and Zionism, we see that Zionism is a modern political ideology based on the ancient religion of Judaism. Without Judaism, there would be no Zionism. Both embrace and promote the myth from the Hebrew Bible, what Christians have renamed the Old Testament, that God gave all the land between the Nile and the Euphrates River to the Jews for a Jewish state (Genesis 15:18). This is what is known as Greater Israel. Based on the Israeli government’s actions expanding the occupation from 1948 to the present, the end goal is to create a Greater Israel of biblical proportions. Gentile nations that are assisting the Jewish state of Israel should keep in mind Deuteronomy 28:1 and Isaiah 60:12. The former states in part that God will set Israel "on high, above all the nations of the earth," which would include the Gentile nations supporting Israel. The latter states that any nation that will not serve Israel "shall perish; yea, those nations shall be utterly wasted." This boils down to a Mafia-type extortion racket and NOT the Word of God.
When we look at statements made by Israeli government Zionist officials, we see that they frequently use the Hebrew Bible and Judaism as reasons for Israel to keep expanding its occupation of Palestinian homes, farms, orchards and businesses. One example of this is Israeli Ambassador to the United Nations, the Zionist Danny Danon. Danon has said,
"We do have biblical rights to the land. Whether you are Christian, Muslim, or Jew - you read the Bible, you read the stories of the Bible - it's all there. This is our deed to the land. That's biblical."
Of course, the Bible Danon is referring to was written by ancient Jewish clergymen with an agenda to promote Jews and a Jewish state above all other people and nations. The agenda of the modern state of Israel remains the same.
In his statement, Danon's hubris and assumption regarding everyone reading and believing the nonsensical stories in the Bible ignores the reality that millions of people in the US, and 1.9 billion people around the world, are awakening to the wonderful fact that the ungodly Bible is not the word of God. In the US, 29% of the population is classified as "nones" as they do not believe in any religion and 70% of them do believe in God or a Higher Power. Since far too few people are aware of Deism, this 70% already hold a Deistic belief in God but probably have never heard of Deism and do not know they have a home in Deism. We Deists have a lot of important work to DO in reaching these people, and everyone else, with Deism!
